[Brash annoying ad blares out of the radio about how to get a loan, or consolidate a loan despite your bad credit rating...blah, blah, blah.]

ANGELICA: You know, there's something that never really made sense to me.

GENE: What.

ANGELICA: Lots of people commit suicide every year.

GENE: Yes?

ANGELICA: And it's easy as hell to get consumer loans these days.

GENE: What's your point?

ANGELICA: Yet I never hear of people who made up their mind to kill themselves taking out loans they know they're never going to have to pay back. It's a free lunch.

GENE: Er...

ANGELICA: I can only conclude that people who kill themselves are not very rational.
