The rather-lame Danish cartoons were reprinted in Egypt all the way back in October. No frenzy.

The cartoons are a flashpoint. An excuse. The jokers who quipped "where the hell did all those Danish flags came from?" unwittingly stumbled upon a chunk of the truth. It was a big campaign to get people whipped up like this.
