Poor, Put-upon Schnauzer

It's not Friday, but I just have to share this picture of poor Dodo. She had some minor surgery yesterday to remove a lump on her thigh, and this is the contraption we jerry-rigged to keep her from licking the surgery site before it heals. The vet sold something like this for $12. But we had the bubble wrap and velcro lying around (every household should have bubble wrap and velcro at hand) and made this, which I like to think is a little bit more comfortable.

She still doesn't like it, though. Not one little bit.
